Bar 1821 VIP Night

The summer is almost here, and on Friday night the sun made a special (and rare) appearance for the launch/re-opening of Bar 1821 at The Byre in East Kilbride.

We arrived and were welcomed by the lovely staff and directed to the bar to order our first of many cocktails of the night. I went for one of my favourites, Dark and Stormy, a mixture of ginger beer, lime juice and dark rum. It went down waaaaay too easily! Then I decided to move onto another one of my go-to's - Jameson and Ginger Ale.

The bar inside was super modern and had a mixture of booths, tables and plenty of bar space to socialise with everyone. But, the sun was splitting in the sky and the music coming from the balcony outdoors was setting the perfect summer vibes so we headed straight outside into the brand new beer garden.

Finished with wooden benches and the coolest champagne seating area, we had all the space, music and sunshine we needed for the perfect night out. Wether you're out for the night or you're just looking for somewhere to pre-drink, Bar 1821 definitely beats so many places in Glasgow town centre in terms of choices of cocktails available, bar service and seating areas.

I also absolutely fell in love with the Mozza pizza truck! It's made fresh on-site and it tastes unreal, I may or may not have spilt some pizza down my dress and had to hide it for the rest of the night...but it was worth every single bite.

The champagne was flowing all night long (and cocktails), the Zonin Prosecco bottles complimented the decor outside and inside the bar and it looked great! Keep an eye out on the Bar1821 Facebook and Instagram for competitions to win a bottle for you and a friend...

To top our night off, we not only had an amazing guest DJ but SaxSingh made an appearance and put us all in holiday mode. He's one of the most sought after saxophonists and it's a no brainer when he managed to get almost everyone in the bar up on their feet dancing.

We had arrived at Bar 1821 around 6.30pm and left around 11.30pm, there was so much going on and the atmosphere was second to none.

So, if pizza, champagne, good music and quality bar service is your thing - get along to Bar 1821 and check out their new facilities!
